Martha’s Table cares about your online privacy. This privacy policy serves to inform you of what information we may collect about you on this website (the “Site”), and how we may use that information. Please note that this privacy policy may change from time to time. We will post any revised policy on this page, and if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice about the change.

Any material changes to the policy will be effective thirty (30) calendar days following such notice to prior users of the Site, and will be effective immediately for new users of the Site.  Continued use of our Site following notice of any such changes shall indicate your acknowledgment of such changes.  Each version of this policy will be identified at the top of the page by its effective date.

What information may be collected

Newsletters, Online Postcards, Donations, and Other Information

If you subscribe to Martha’s Table e-newsletter, request additional information about Martha’s Table, submit a donation online, or participate in any of the other services on the Site that require personal information, we may request your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address in order to respond to your inquiries. If you send a friend an online postcard, we may request your name and email address as well as the name and email address of the friend to whom you wish to send the postcard. Martha’s Table may collect and store the information you choose to provide us, including name, address, and email address, in order to send you information about Martha’s Table, as well as about our partners and third parties in connection with events for which Martha’s Table is a partner or beneficiary.  If you make a donation to Martha’s Table and elect to pay online, Martha’s Table will collect the necessary financial information to process the donation.

From time to time, we may request information from you via online polls or surveys. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary; you have a choice whether or not to disclose information required to enter. Information requested may include personal contact information such as your name and email address. This contact information will be used to provide you with further information about Martha’s Table services and to monitor or improve the use of and user satisfaction with the Site.

We do not trade, sell or rent our mailing lists or information gathered from our website.  We may use the information gathered to send users information about Martha’s Table  as well as about partners and third parties only in connection with events for which Martha’s Table is a participant or beneficiary. Children’s privacy statement

Our Site is not directed to children under the age of thirteen.  We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personally identifiable information from a user under the age of thirteen, we will delete such information from our records.
