All Martha’s Table employees, interns, subcontractors, and volunteers are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or undergo weekly testing. This includes staff members who are working remotely, hybrid, or in person. To be in compliance, new team members should have received both shots of either Pfizer or Moderna, or one shot of Johnson & Johnson – in addition to the booster which must be obtained within 30 days of hire. New team members must provide their proof of vaccination card to Human Resources prior to their start date.

Life and Family Benefits

Medical, Dental, and Vision:

Three Medical Plan Options through CareFirst: HMO, HMO with an HSA (Health Savings Account), and a POS plan.

Martha's Table offers a variety of medical plan options for you and/or your family to choose from.

Martha's Table provided bi-weekly HSA contribution to each employee that enrolls in the HMO with HSA medical plan.

Martha's Table will provide funds on your HSA card to help pay down your deductible.

Dental Coverage through Guardian with Adult and Child Orthodontia.

The dental plan provides access to in and out-of-network providers, coverage for major dental work, and coverage for preventative care.

Comprehensive Vision Plan through Guardian.

Martha's Table provides a robust vision plan with minimal bi-weekly employee contributions.

Retirement:

3%+ Contribution

Employees are eligible for a maximum of a 3% contribution from Martha’s Table after they have been employed for one year. There is an additional 1% employer matching contribution available if the employee participates in the 403(b) plan and contributes at least 1% of salary.

Martha's Table observes 12 company paid holidays.

Tuition Reimbursement

Martha's Table will provide financial support for professional development in the following areas regardless of tenure:

Tuition Reimbursement - MT will reimburse employees on a tax-free basis, up to 12 credit hours per fiscal year - up to the University of MD's in-state tuition
Professional Development - Up to $2,000 per fiscal year - to include professional memberships.
Unlocking Transcripts - Up to $1,500 to access transcripts from previously attended institutions.

Discounted Childcare with Martha's Table

All Martha's Table employees are eligible to enroll their children at a 50% off discounted rate into the childcare program.

AFLAC Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Accident coverage

The Aflac Lump Sum Critical Illness plan is designed to provide you with cash benefits if you experience a serious health event, such as a heart attack or stroke.

Free groceries form the "Monthly Market" once a month

Employees can shop for free groceries at the monthly market. Freshly picked fruits, vegetables, and other products are available on a daily basis.

Legal Shield Legal Coverage

No matter the situation, members are covered and can save literally thousands of dollars over standard attorney-client relationships.

Company provided EAP (Employee Assistance Program) & Will Prep Services

Face-to-face counseling sessions for some of life's difficult challenges, and will prep services are available and at no cost to each employee.

Pet Insurance

Pets' Best Pet Insurance offers a 90% reimbursement on accidents and illnesses. Employees can also choose to add on routine care coverage.

Generous Paid Time Off (PTO)

PTO offers the flexibility to use the time off for personal needs. Marta’s Table PTO offers an allotment of days for employees that covers travel time, personal time, and sick time. PTO accrual will depend on the status of the employee and on qualifying years’ of service.
