The Obama’s Thanksgiving Visit to Martha’s Table

The day before Thanksgiving, the parents of the children in our programs were pleasantly surprised when the First Family handed them the ingredients to make a Thanksgiving feast.

The First Family and 40 of their closest family members volunteered at Martha’s Table. They helped pass out turkeys and pies, create Thanksgiving art work with children in our after-school program and read to the children in the daycare.

Thank you to all the staff members that worked so hard to make this a very special experience for the first family and their family.
