May is here, offering all of us a chance to connect, contribute, and celebrate the strengths in our community. At Martha’s Outfitters, neighbors support neighbors every day, from families finding the perfect outfit to prepare them to nail their interview, to volunteers lending their time to create a welcoming and dignified shopping experience. Together, we amplify the brilliance that already thrives here.
Every volunteer shift makes a real impact for families across DC:
For many neighbors, Martha’s Outfitters is about more than clothing. It’s about feeling seen, supported, and cared for by their very own community.
“Martha’s Outfitters is a great place in the community to help people and their children with clothes and shoes during difficult times.”
-Vivian M., Martha’s Outfitters shopper
This May, more neighbors are coming together at Martha’s Outfitters, showing the power of community, generosity, and community care. Every volunteer shift is an opportunity to learn from one another, to share skills, and to ensure everyone has access to essential resources while recognizing the dignity and strengths of all involved.
Ready to roll up your sleeves? Visit here to get started. Together, we can ensure every neighbor has the support they deserve.
