Keeping Our Community Warm: Ways to Support the Winter Coat Giveaway
Cold weather is just around the corner, and here at Martha’s Table, we’re gearing up for one of our favorite annual events—the Winter Coat Giveaway! Every year, we come together to make sure our community stays warm, and we need your support to make it all happen.
At its heart, the Winter Coat Giveaway is simple: We gather as a community, offering our neighbors the chance to select new winter coats, hats, scarves, and gloves. But it’s so much more than just distributing clothes—it’s about connection, care, and ensuring no one faces the winter season alone.
This event reflects the strength of our community, and there are many ways for you to get involved. Whether you’re donating, volunteering, or simply helping spread the word, your contribution will help make a real impact this season. Let’s make sure everyone feels the warmth this winter!
How Can You Help?
We can’t do this without you! Here are a few ways you can lend a hand:
1. Sign up for a Volunteer Shift
Looking to donate your time? There are lots of ways to get involved! First, we need plenty of hands during the week leading up to the event to help sort, organize, and prepare coats for our neighbors. Or, you can volunteer on the day of the event and assist families as they pick out their new winter coats.
2. Buy a Coat from Our Wishlist
Want to provide a warm coat directly? Our Amazon Wishlist features coats for children and families of all sizes. Every purchase goes directly to a neighbor in need, ensuring they’re prepared for the colder months ahead. Shop Our Amazon Wishlist
3. Host a Virtual Coat Drive
Spread the warmth even further by creating a personal fundraiser. Rally your friends, family, or coworkers to help us reach even more neighbors in need. It’s a fun and impactful way to make a big difference this winter.
4. Make a Gift and Support the Event
Your financial support allows us to purchase high-quality coats and winter gear for the children and adults who need them most. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference!
