We are thrilled to announce the return of one of our most cherished traditions: Martha’s Table Annual Winter Coat Giveaway! This year, we are bringing back our signature one-day event with a big goal: distributing 3,000 coats in just three hours. 

This 2026 Winter Coat Giveaway is a celebration of our incredible community and a chance to gather together, share big smiles, and get ready for the chilly weather in style. Led by our amazing clothing experts from Martha’s Outfitters, this event will be held on Saturday, October 24, from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

If you are planning to attend, here are a few key details to keep in mind:

• Coat Limit: 4 coats per family, available while supplies last.
• What to Expect: Given how popular this event is, you may experience a bit of a wait in line. Our team will be working hard to keep lines moving as quickly and smoothly as possible. We truly appreciate your patience, kindness, and smiles as we ensure everyone has a wonderful time!

Need a Coat, But Can’t Make the Event?

Don’t worry! If you are unable to attend the one-day giveaway, Martha’s Outfitters has you covered. From October through March, a combination of new and gently used coats will be put out for our clothing program members. If you are not yet a member, joining is simple: all DC residents are welcome, just bring a photo ID and proof of DC residency to sign up on the spot!
