Baby & Me

The Baby & Me program celebrates and supports expecting and new moms as they build strong starts for their little ones.

Where You Live

Participants should live in DC's Ward 8 where the program is rooted and designed to support local families.

Who Can Join

Expecting mothers and caregivers up to three months postpartum are welcome to be part of the Baby & Me family.

Active Participation

Baby & Me is successful because participants show up, get involved, and support one another.

Program /Benefits

Together, we focus on wellness, learning, and community. Moms explore topics like prenatal and postnatal health, breastfeeding, and early childhood development, while also connecting to valuable resources like WIC, farmers markets, and nutrition programs. Most importantly, Baby & Me offers a welcoming space where moms can share experiences, grow their knowledge, and thrive on their parenting journey.
Wellness Support

From prenatal to postnatal care, parents grain knowledge and tools to support their own well-being and their baby's healthy development.

Hands-On Education

Sessions cover breastfeeding, early childhood milestones, and everyday parenting skill, helping parents feel more confident and prepared.

Access to Healthy Food

Participants have access to healthy food through our Martha's Table Markets and learn about resources like WIC and nutrition education to help families thrive.

Community Connections

Baby & Me fosters a welcoming space where moms and parents build friendships, share experiences and create a strong support network.
