Community Support Services

In addition to our integrated programs, Martha’s Table runs community programs that support strong children, strong families, and strong communities. Programs Include: McKenna’s Wagon, our daily mobile food truck; Martha’s Table Market, our grocery distribution program,  and Martha’s Outfitters, our community boutique store.


All guests are welcome to shop once per month for fresh produce and pantry items at our no-cost weekday markets located at both our SE & NW locations:

Martha’s Table Market  at The Commons (2375 Elvans Road, SE)

  • Open Monday-Friday from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm.
  • Extended hours on Tuesdays 11:00 am – 6:00 pm.

Maycroft Lobby Market – Our 14th Street programs have moved!

Effective March 6, 2019: Meet us at The Maycroft in Columbia Heights! New Address: 1474 Columbia Road, NW

More Ways to Shop: No-Cost Community Markets

At our pop-up community markets, children, their families, and neighbors can shop at no cost for fresh, healthy produce and healthy pantry staples. About 70% of the food available at each market is composed of produce, such as sweet potatoes, cabbage, and kale, and non-perishable staples ranging from peanut butter to whole-wheat pasta and beans. Volunteer for Veggies

Volunteer to help at any of our markets and take home a fresh bag of produce.


McKenna’s Wagon, Martha’s Table’s mobile food truck, rolls out 7 days a week, 365 days a year to feed hundreds of DC neighbors who may be experiencing homelessness or hunger at two downtown locations. Volunteers stop at the following locations and serve hot, fresh meals, as well as sandwiches, homemade muffins, fruit, and refreshments:

5:15 p.m. – 5:45 p.m. 2nd and H Street NW (*Times are approximate and subject to traffic conditions.)
6:15 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. 15th and K Street NW (*Times are approximate and subject to traffic conditions.)


Martha’s Outfitters is an innovative community store focused on supporting families with young children in the crucial early years of a child’s life. Outfitters patrons shop at no cost through a monthly credit program. To be eligible for the program, patrons must show that they support a young child (infant – 8 years old).

Offerings available to our patrons range from diapers and baby bottles for infants to business attire for parents and caregivers. Martha’s Outfitters’ mission is to support strong families by providing access to baby items and clothing necessary at home and in the workplace.

As a community store, Martha’s Outfitters relies on the contributions of donors and volunteers to make sure shoppers have access to the clothing needed to build strong families. Whether you are visiting the area, donating or shopping, we welcome you to stop by and see us!
