Arena Stage Shares the Joy of Literacy

As part of Arena Stage and Martha’s Table’s “Feed the Mind” partnership, Arena Stage is collecting books to build home libraries for our Healthy Start students. Thanks to hundreds of generous Arena Stage patrons, the theater has already collected over 1,800 books for our students!  In this picture, Martha’s Table Healthy Start students and Healthy Start Director Tiffany Williams enjoy Read & Play Storytelling Day, complete with a sneak peek performance of Oliver, at Arena Stage in November. The students are pictured here at the Arlene and Robert Kogod Cradle Theater. Thanks to Arena Stage for hosting over 300 District students to discover the joy of literacy!
