More College Action from the Teen Program

In today’s teen news, Benjamin Bannekar student Dionne Delaney has been accepted into the following schools; St. Paul’s College, Lincoln University, and Virginia Union!! On March 19th, Dionne visited Lincoln University with Martha’s Table Teen Program Director, Timothy Jones. Once there, MTTP alumni and 3^rd year students, Jawara Johnson and Vincent Sumbry, lead Dionne and Timothy on a full campus tour.  This included viewing of some of the latest technology Lincoln University has to offer in its’ Mass Communication Department and school radio station.  Although Dionne is not sure whether or not he will attend the University, he is extremely happy with his decision to visit the school and get a “feel” for the campus and the surrounding area.

We look forward to supporting Dionne in whichever college or university he ultimately decides to attend, and would like to send out a big Congratulations to our seniors! We are excited about the acceptance letters that continue roll in for the, and are enthusiastic about sending them off to college!
