Standing with Neighbors Despite the Storm

Students Adopt a Local Market

On a Thursday afternoon in December, a group of high school students pours into Center City Public Charter School. The students are visiting from Friendship Tech Prep Academy, a neighboring Ward 8 school, to volunteer at Center City’s monthly Joyful Food Market, which they adopted for the school year. <<read more>>

Treasure, Time, Voice: Spotlight on National Presbyterian Church

Celebrating the Harvest

Days before Thanksgiving, on a crisp Sunday afternoon, the Martha’s Table community gathered to celebrate the season with a Community Harvest. As staff, volunteers, neighbors, supporters, and longtime visitors mingled over a holiday meal of turkey, stuffing, pasta, and salad, musicians crooned “At Last” and “My Cherie Amore,” while many danced and joined in for informal karaoke. <<read more>>

On a Saturday morning in December, a group of Martha’s Table Board Members and Apple Society Members joined us for a Bread and Breakfast service event to make fresh holiday jam muffins to be distributed on McKenna’s Wagon. <<read more>>

Arena Stage Shares the Joy of Literacy

Shop and Shine at Martha’s Outfitters

Check out both of our Martha’s Outfitters locations to shop for affordable housewares and clothing this year! Last year, in addition to 50,000 paying customers, over 10,000 in-need families and neighbors were able to shop for free through our Martha’s Outlet program. <<read more>>
