Chief Administrative Officer
Amy Kurz serves as Chief Administrative Officer at Martha’s Table, where she is responsible for the infrastructure and systems that allow Martha’s Table’s programs to increase education, food, and family supports, and ensure a bright future for children and families in D.C. Amy has dedicated her professional career to nonprofit work, and she brings extensive experience in nonprofit management. Prior to joining Martha’s Table, she served as the Managing Executive Director of the Nonprofit Roundtable, which united non-profit leaders in order to address our community’s most pressing social and economic challenges. In this role, Amy oversaw the organization’s strategic and operational plans and led its financial management. Prior to joining the Nonprofit Roundtable staff in 2009, Amy served as the Assistant Director of the Neighbors Project at George Washington University’s Office of Community Service, where she worked to connect students, staff, and faculty with community service opportunities.
Amy formerly served as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Young Playwrights’ Theater and as an Ambassador for the Gift of Life Bone Marrow Foundation. Amy is a graduate of George Washington University, where she earned her Master’s Degree in Public Administration with a focus on Nonprofit Management. She lives in D.C. with her husband, son and their rescue dog Yogi Berra.
