Carrie VanRoekel has served on the Martha’s Table’s board of directors since April 2016. She is a marketing executive with almost 20 years of experience building a variety of consumer brands and businesses. Most recently, she was the Senior Vice President of Marketing for Expedia, having started at the inception of the brand and successfully led the marketing efforts to build what is now one of the leading online travel brands in the world.
Before joining Expedia, she held a variety of marketing positions at Microsoft and Procter & Gamble.
Carrie earned a B.A. in Journalism and an MBA from Indiana University and has served in a variety of advisory roles to non-profit organizations such as Washington-state chapter of Stand for Children, an education reform and advocacy organization, and was a founding member of the Advisory Board to the Institute for Learning and Brain Sciences at the University of Washington. Carrie currently resides in Washington, DC with her husband, Steven, and their three young daughters.
