Director of Strategic Communications
Akidah Felder leads the strategic communications team at Martha’s Table and is responsible for a range of government relations, media relations, communications, special events, and community outreach activities. Akidah has amassed over 18 years’ experience in strategic communications specifically in the areas of, digital, e-commerce, and direct outreach by working with a variety of brands and nonprofit entities.
She has worked in partnership with organizations such as WCLK 91.9 FM (an NPR member station), Comcast, The American University, USC, The City of Chicago, the LA SBDC and Healthy Neighborhoods nonprofit partner organizations. Akidah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Spelman College and a Master’s degree in Media Studies from the Schools of Public Engagement at the New School. She is also certified in digital marketing and as a community and field producer at both DCTV and Arlington Independent Media.
