Director of Development
Rae Davidson is the Director of Development at Martha’s Table, where she leads advancement efforts to ensure the organization has the resources it needs to continue to deliver on its mission to build a brighter future for our nation’s capital. In her tenure with Martha’s Table, she has held a variety of roles in institutional relations, development writing, and development operations. Her work at Martha’s Table is focused on infusing traditional fundraising techniques with a strengths-based approach that honors and celebrates the children, families, and communities we support.
Prior to joining Martha’s Table, Rae served as the Corporate Relations Manager at Ford’s Theatre Society, where she administered a $3 million corporate giving program. Prior to joining Ford’s, Rae worked in development at the Smithsonian Institution’s Freer and Sackler Galleries. In addition to her fundraising roles, Rae has eight years of experience supporting English language learners as a volunteer ESOL instructor in Virginia and the District of Columbia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia, where she graduated with Distinction as an Echols Scholar.
