By participating in The Community Change Makers Book Club we make space in our minds for all kinds of stories– stories that can teach us how to support our neighbors, stories that can inspire hope for the future, stories that can explore hidden histories we may not know about, stories that can change our perspectives, and stories that can build bridges that help us better understand one another and the community we reside.
Through our conversations about the texts we read, the space is open for questions, storytelling, and curiosity.
Most importantly, however, with each book we read, we will work together on action items to take with us into our lives.
