Honoring the Amazing Women Who Raise Us: Celebrating Mother’s Day!

Moms are truly incredible. They wear so many hats, nurturing and supporting us through life’s journey. On this special occasion of Mother’s Day, let’s take a moment to honor all the amazing mothers out there who give so much of themselves every day. 

As we celebrate these extraordinary women, we are excited to share some upcoming events designed specifically for moms. These gatherings are more than just events; they are opportunities to connect, learn, and grow with one another.

Moms’ Night Out: Exciting Events Just for Our Super Moms

* Momma Need a Hand – May 22nd : We invite you to join our Baby & Me workshop in partnership with NuMomish. This program is an incredible opportunity to connect with other moms and build a supportive network during your motherhood journey. Focusing on mothers and families in Ward 8, each cohort includes 50 moms who receive personalized support. Through workshops, one-on-one sessions, and community events, we are here to help families navigate the beautiful, yet sometimes challenging, experience of pregnancy and early parenthood. 

*Baby Sprinkle – June 20th: This celebration is periodically held throughout the year, bringing together new mothers for a joyful opportunity to socialize, participate in activities, and access resources. Modeled after traditional baby showers, Baby Sprinkle creates a warm atmosphere filled with excitement and camaraderie. It’s open to expecting and new moms in the neighborhoods surrounding Martha’s Table, as well as those currently enrolled in our programs and team members. It promises to be a day of fun and support! 

*Baby & Me – Fall Cohort:  Looking ahead, we are thrilled to announce that our next Baby & Me cohort will be opening this fall! This initiative is part of our Family Engagement program, which aims to strengthen the home-school relationship for our students while connecting caregivers to essential resources. We believe that by empowering moms and caregivers, we can create a brighter future for our children. 

As we commemorate Mother’s Day, let’s acknowledge the hard work, love, and dedication that moms bring into our lives. They are our rock, our cheerleaders, and sometimes, just the support we need to keep going. We hope that these initiatives will bring about more connection and joy among mothers in our community.
