On March 29th, families and students from our education programs joined the Martha’s Table community for our annual Family Literacy Night! This year’s theme was “Blueprints for Literacy”. Each classroom was designed to resemble a part daily life, like the bedroom, the car, the laundry room. Parents and their children learned how to incorporate literacy and learning into all their daily activities such as learning colors by playing I spy in the car.

What I enjoy most about being a father is just the happiness I feel from giving unconditional love and protection. I love being there for them and hearing them say “That’s my dad” proudly to their friends.
