Valentine’s Day at Martha’s Table

02.15.2017

Valentine’s Day celebrations at Martha’s Table were a blast! Families, students, donors and teachers participated in games, photo booths and art and crafts projects! Over the last week, our Healthy Start students celebrated with the Valentine’s Ball, and our Out of School Time Programming students participated in a community service project to make Valentine’s Cards.
Check out some scenes from the celebrations:

Our pre-K and first grade students had a Friendship Party, where students created heart messages for their friends then added the valentines to the friendship tree. The party also included special treats, Ninja Turtle valentines, and a dance party!

Our toddlers had a Valentine’s ball with a photo booth, arts and crafts and dancing. Teachers, parents, and students had a great time celebrating!

Our older students were creative and made chocolate covered pretzels and fruit lady bugs! Students also enjoyed games of Connect Four and bingo with their friends and classmates.

Thanks to our wonderful Ms. Flo, our Assistant Director of Prepared Foods, and our hardworking kitchen staff, the Martha’s Table team had a great time at a specially prepared lunch with Valentine’s Bingo and homemade sweet treats!
