Food Program WishlistWe have a GREAT NEED of non-perishable food items. If you wish to donate Canned and Non-Perishable Food or Fresh and Prepared Food, Please follow the DONATION GUIDELINES located on the "Feed the Hungry - McKenna's Wagon" page found on the right navigational bar. Thank You.
Sandwiches- Meat & Cheese Sandwiches - Lean meat (turkey, lean ham, etc) and cheese on wheat or whole grain bread. Please do not put condiments on the sandwich.
- Peanut Butter and Jelly - on wheat or whole grain bread.
- When packaging, please keep meat & cheese separate from PB&J sandwiches.
- Canned Vegetables - green beans corn, peas, tomatoes, potatoes, etc.
- Canned Fruit - peaches, apple sauce, pinapple, orange segments, fruit salad, etc.
- Canned Beans - black beans, baked beans, red beans, etc
- Canned Protein, tuna, chicken, salmon, chili, beef stew
- Breakfast Foods - cereal, oatmeal, breakfast bars, pop tarts, etc.
- Baby Food
- Misc - jelly, tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard.
- Fresh fruit and vegetables
- sliced cheese
- sliced deli meats (lean ham and turkey)
- Cheerios, Corn Flakes, Kix, Raisin Bran, Chex
- Fig newtons, graham crackers, nutrigrain bars, string cheese, pepperridge farm goldfish, vanilla pudding cups, vanilla wafers.
- Napkins
- Sandiwich Bags
- Peanut butter, Soft Drinks, Candy, Junk Food
Daycare Center Wishlist
- Gift Cards from Lake Shore Learning Center (A teaching store located at 7009 A Manchester Blvd. Alexandria, VA 22130 or click on the link above)
- Thermometers
- Bandaids and First Aid Items
- Washable markers, washable paint, large crayons
- New socks and underwear for children, especially in smaller sizes
- Diapers, Pull-ups, baby wipes, baby bottles
- Facial tissue, bathroom tissue, paper towels, anti-bacterial liquid soap, shampoo, toothpaste (unopened), toothbrushes (new)
- Coats--lightweight and rain proof jackets as well as heavy coats
- small umbrellas
Martha's Outfitters' Needs
Spring clothing--We are running low on space to store winter clothing and are transitioning into spring, jeans, business casual clothing such as cotton long sleeved shirts and shoes in all sizes (especially Large), hats, scarves and spring/rain jackets. We also have a a need for clean towels, face clothes and linens.
If you would like to coordinate a coat or winter clothing drive, please contact the Director of Martha's Outfitters, Inge Ashley, iashley@marthastable.org or 202-328-6608 x 230. We could always use...- Underwear, Brassieres, Socks

Facilities' Needs
We accept donated furniture. This is a separate program from Martha's Outfitters. If you have furniture you would like to donate, please contact Dominick Musso at 202-328-6608 x 225 or dmusso@marthastable.org.

- Paint supplies: roller extensions,poles, rollers with various naps, roller covers for wall and ceiling painting, paint brushes (1 1/2" and 2" angle brushes), and drop cloths

- Food can be dropped off any weekday between 8am and 6pm, and weekends from 12pm to 6pm.
- Clothing, toiletries, and other items for Martha's Outfitters can be dropped off Tuesdays through Saturdays between 7:30am and 12:00noon.
