Standing with Neighbors Despite the Storm

At Martha’s Table, we are committed to supporting our most vulnerable neighbors in times of need, 365 days a year. These doors stay open rain, shine, or crippling winter blizzard! Over the weekend of January 22, throughout the storm, Martha’s Table’s emergency lobby market—featuring fresh produce and healthy pantry staples—remained open for families and neighbors in need. In addition, we served warm meals from our 14th Street kitchen and downtown from McKenna’s Wagon, our daily mobile food truck. We also utilized the Wagon to distribute warm clothing and sleeping bags to our homeless neighbors. Finally, we dropped off a hearty stew to our partners at Central Union Mission. All of this work happened under the direction of our very wonderful and hardworking Weekend Kitchen Manager, Floratina Coles. From delivering meals to shoveling our entryway to donating clothing, our supporters were also with us every step of the way. We remain overwhelmed by the collective generosity of our community in times of need. Thank you.Action Alert: Our work would be impossible without you. Volunteer or donate today!
