Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Bhumip Patel oversees all aspects of finances at Martha’s Table, including the development and management of budgets, preparation of financial statements, and reporting to the organization’s board of directors and the public. In addition to serving as CFO for the organization, Bhumip heads the management of accounting and compliance operations.
Before joining Martha’s Table in January 2013, Bhumip spent over a decade in both non-profit and for-profit sectors in numerous capacities. He has held roles in financial accounting and management for Bread for the City, a non-profit organization that provides comprehensive services to the residents of Washington DC, and Edelman, a public relations firm. Bhumip was also a management consultant for IBM where his work focused on designing, developing, and implementing transformational solutions that included technology, process, and organizational change.
Bhumip holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and an MBA with a focus on Social Entrepreneurship and Finance, both from George Mason University.
