Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Martha’s Table!
We rely on volunteers in our Healthy Start, Healthy Eating, and Healthy Connections programs. Volunteering at Martha’s Table creates a bridge for people to connect with their community and DC neighbors. Our volunteer program helps shape our community and allows people to live with our shared values and to be a part of the solution.
Martha’s Table volunteers range in age from elementary students to retirees. Schools, church groups, civic groups, business and law offices and employees from many businesses around the Washington D.C. metro area make up the corps of approximately 10,000 volunteers that walk through Martha’s Table’s doors every year.
Please read our new Volunteer Code.
Martha’s Table uses an online scheduling system. With this scheduling system:
- Volunteers can sign up for their own shifts;
- Individual or Group volunteers can see what opportunities are available based on group size and shifts; and
- Volunteers can add their name to a waitlist. If the shift opens up, you will be notified right away.
Not able to volunteer? You can always support us with a donation. We appreciate your interest in Martha’s Table. Thank you!
