Sips & Suppers
Sips & Suppers is a major celebration of food and community in the Washington, DC metro area. Now in its ninth year, Sips & Suppers began in 2009 as the brainchild of Alice Waters to raise the awareness of homelessness and hunger in the nation’s capital and to promote efforts to develop sustainable and local solutions to these challenges.
Casseroles & Conversations
Martha’s Table began hosting a series of Casseroles & Conversations in 2013. These events create a space for the discussion of important topics to Martha’s Table and those we serve-such as the challenges faced by low-income working families and the linkage between hunger and diet-related illnesses-by our staff, boardmembers, and experts from throughout DC.
One Pot Suppers
Inspired by our one pot supper that goes out on McKenna’s Wagon every night, One Pot Suppers offers the opportunity for Martha’s Table’s friends and supporters to make an impact on the community. The One Pot Supper concept puts the event in your hands, creating a fun, exciting, rewarding experience for an important cause. What better way to celebrate and support the vital work of Martha’s Table than to gather with family and friends for a special evening?
